COPAHUE EXTREMO 2020 IS CANCELLED
As is publicly known, the world's sports activities have been affected by the pandemic. The biggest event of the year, the Tokyo Olympics, was rescheduled for 2021. And in the case of athletics, the world, continental and national championships have been canceled or postponed. The same has happened with the marathon circuit.
We have followed these events in permanent consultation with international federative entities. Given the uncertain situation, the Copahue Extremo Organization announced the postponement of this year's edition.
We adopted this decision within the framework of the health regulations established by the emergency and prioritizing the health of runners, the public and the organization.
All those registered for 2020 will automatically be registered for the 2021 edition, which will take place in August / September -date still to be confirmed- without incurring new costs. However, for those particular cases that do not wish to maintain their registration, the amount paid for the registration for the 2020 edition will be returned, for which they should write to us at: copahueextremo@gmail.com
We send our feelings of solidarity to all of us with the conviction that we will meet again to share what will be the 2021 Snowshoe World Championship, where Copahue Extremo will host.
