WORLD SNOWSHOE CHAMPIONSHIP 2021: AUG 26-28

The World SnowShoe Championship 2021 consists of two race distances: 12-k (20-70+ years old) and 5-k (15-19 years old), all surrounded by astounding scenery. You are invited to feel welcomed by Copahue volcano (2997mts high) and be part of this sports event.
Caviahue-Copahue is one of the world-renowned thermal centers due to the quality and variety of its waters. In winter, heavy snows cover the area, painting everything white until as far as early November days. This allows the practice of winter trail running surrounded by overwhelming scenery.

The Organization DOES NOT provide runners with the snowshoes.

Check in and runner kit pick-up: August 26, 2021. 12 PM - 8:30 PM (Location: Caviahue).
Opening Ceremony: August 27, 2021. 10 AM (Location: Caviahue).
Race Information meeting: August 27, 2021. 1 PM (Location: Caviahue).
Race: August 28, 2021. 10:30 AM (Location: Caviahue Ski Resort).
Award Ceremony: August 28, 2021. 5:30 PM (Location: Caviahue) .

Total elevation: 1400mts
Elevation: 1650 masl – 2000 masl
Maximum number of participants: 500 (the Organization will consider the possibility of increasing this number)
